The ladies singing group Trinity will resume rehearsals Sunday, Sept. 12, in the choir room at 4:30 pm.  We are looking for prior and new faces and voices.  Our Director, Dru Woods, has planned some exciting things for us to do this coming new year.  Be sure to join us for music, fun, fellowship and praise!

Children's Church Returns August 29

Children's Church was dismissed for the summer to give workers a much needed break but will be returning Sunday, August 29, with a new energy and excitement.  Children's Church allows kids to learn and express their faith in a language and style that matches their age.  Children's Church also reinforces lessons taught in Sunday School and provides parents with the assurance that their children are being equipped with a solid knowledge of God's Word.  Children's Church is coordinated by Lauri Collins and Jennifer McCrary but relies on the assistance of parents and other volunteers.  If you would like to help, contact Lauri or Jennifer.

GRIEFSHARE RETURNS SEPTEMBER 2

GriefShare, the powerful grief recovery/support program offered by HBBC, will return Thursday, Sept. 2, at the new, earlier time of 4:00 pm.  The 13-week, video-based program will offer insight and encouragement for adults who grieve because of the death of a relative or friend.  In each session participants will view presentations by some of the country's top experts on grief to gain perspective and help.  Small group discussions and printed resources will give addition perspective and hope.

To register for GriefShare, contact the church office at 903 769-2091.  A $10.00 fee provides material used during the program.  Scholarship help is available where needed.
