Why do hundreds of thousands of kids attend Awana Clubs every week?
Awana is fun! That’s the bottom line for most kids. Of course, they’re learning and growing while they’re having fun!
What is Awana? Awana is a ministry that reaches children with the gospel of Christ and trains them to serve God.
Awana. Because Kids Matter to God.
Awana consists of 4 sections:
Recreation: We play unique games that are designed to help the kids exercise/develop teamwork skills and to have fun.
Handbook Time: A time when the kids memorize Bible scripture and earn Awards for their achievements. Clubbers may also learn their verses at home.
Council Time: A time for kids to learn about God through Bible skits, music, puppets, and missionaries.
Awards: Each night clubbers earn awards for handbook progress.
Where do we meet?
Holly Brook Baptist Church FLC at 3210 S. FM 2869, between Hawkins and Holly Lake.
When do we meet?
Every Wednesday night from 6:00 to 7:30. We will begin early registration on September 7th from 6:00 to 7:00 and then begin regular Awana meetings on September 14. Awana ends the year on May 9, 2012.
